ALBANY, N.Y., June 29, 2021 — The American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York) is proud to announce that both of the New York nominees for the ACEC Young Professional of the Year award have been selected as National award recipients. Additionally, ACEC New York announced their 2021 year-end award winners: A. Christopher Cerino, PE, SECB, F. SEI, DBIA, New York Structural Engineering Director, STV Group has been recognized as the Engineer of the Year; Luke Martinek, PE, LEED AP, Vice President + General Manager NY, Sam Schwartz Engineering, has been recognized as the New Principal of the Year; and The Salvadori Center received the Chairman’s Award.
